Description

We partnered with National Geographic to help bring Queens to life—a landmark series celebrating the matriarchs of the animal kingdom.

Created by an all-women-led production team and narrated by Angela Bassett, this wasn’t just about wildlife. It was about womanhood in all its forms.

 
 
 

Insight

Black culture thrives no matter where it's planted.

This wasn’t just about legacy. It was about honoring the soil that made us, the seeds we’ve sown, and the sacred responsibility of our generation to tend our cultural garden and keep the brilliance growing. BET has always been a platform, but this campaign reminded us it’s also a sanctuary.

 

Idea

We don’t wait for change. We nurture it.

We built a 60s spot that served as a cultural alter, designed to celebrate the past while boldly intending for our future. Underpinned by a manifesto, every shot was crafted to honor the beauty, struggle, and power of the Black creativity that has fueled BET for the last 45 years and the next 45 as well.

 
 

Impact

The Garden became a space for reverence.

The Garden was broadcast during the BET Awards and what started as a script became a living, breathing invitation not just to watch, but to reflect, to rise, and to bloom forward.
